ok so after some work( all new cables, coils, battery, kill switch, ign switch, headlight, mirrors, bars, gauges, and fluids) it runs fairly well. it still needs a few more parts but at least its running. here is a video i took sunday morning...

yea the original owner did all of the mods( paint,extended forks, seat, lowering blocks, pipes, bars) in 73 _________________ 1972 Cb500/4- 31,000 miles

I would keep the bike as is with all the original 70's era mods. The reason I am saying this is because period modified bikes are rare. The AMCA does judge period modified bikes. Usually everyone wants to bring them back to stock. I love all the 70's era aftermarket stuff that was out there. Currently I am looking for one of the 70's era sissy bars for my bike, that is if I can ever find one.

i still have all of the parts. the bars had to go. it was almost un-rideable with those ram horn style bars. i do have to lift the rear end back up because its sitting so low the tire bottoms out on the fender and its chewing up the harness. _________________ 1972 Cb500/4- 31,000 miles
