youre off to a good start there man, keep it up youll be riding pretty soon!
I'm digging the black red and silver scheme, what did you paint the cases with? are you sure itll hold up to the temps that itll need to endure?

I used Dupli-color spray paint for the entire build. The engine cases are painted with their MetalCast "anodizing" paint, good to 400 degrees, engine is painted with 500 degree High Heat engine paint, frame is Textured Metallic with ClearEffects clear coat, calipers are 500 degree Engine paint as well, just in red. All of the paint I used is rated for 400F minimum and has 3 coats minimum, engine and cases have 5 coats each and calipers have 3-4 coats.

Well, since the last update, I've got it standing up on it's own. Brakes are bled and engine wiring is finally complete.

After I finally got the rear shocks on while holding up the entire rear end off the blocks.

Old tank and seat. I'll use them for now, but I have a new tank to go on, and a new seat is going to be made from fiberglass.

My massive 150/80 rear tire. Pretty much the widest that will fit in the stock swingarm.

Short video of the first start up after 10 months of hibernation, mind you this is with open header inside the garage so the sound is a bit off. But it's running, so I'm happy.
