Check out ebay, and try to get the reports from bonhams and butterfields,etc. Have to do some search on the web. Check out mid america auctions. Do not pay attention to their early american and british auctions. What you want to do is look and see what a Japanese bike goes for. What it does is gives you a ball park figure on what a correctly restored motorcycle will go for. But remeber that when you try to sell it retail you may not get the auction or the appraised value. That is why I hate to sell bikes.

what do you guys think if instead of trying to restore it to its original state, I do a build up of a drag race or cafe version during that era? that way I wouldn't have to worry about all the little bells and whistles, front fender, bob the rear, find or make a stinger for it, etc. This picture I found gave me the inspiration
