This is a very clean, original condition classic; NOT a restoration. Everything works like the day it was new. A 738cc 2 stroke, liquid cooled, oil injected 3 cylinder engine built to last a lifetime. I am the 2nd owner and it has always been garage kept.
Recent total front brake overhaul, new air cleaner. I have lots of extra parts to include with the sale:
Vetter Windjammer III (white) complete with new windshield, Floor Plate Kit, Krauser detachable buckets w/ brackets, Cooling Fan Kit complete, Tail Light Assembly complete, Alternator, Carburetor Kits NOS, Headlights, Fenders (front & rear), Custom Seat (King/Queen), Ignition parts, Standard Shocks (2 sets), Air Shocks, Sprockets & Chains, Manuals (Owners, Haynes, Carburetor, Front Brakes, Engine, Parts List), much more. I am asking $3,000$2,500MAKE OFFER!

Oh it HAS caught my eye, and the price is great, but unfortunately I'm above my "quota" on bikes says the wife. If that thing is STILL around next spring... I may have to take a flight to Oklahoma...

hingabo,
Free bump. That is very sweet and someone is going to get and nice old bike. Tough market right now, no one has spare $$, too many people out of work, or they are afraid they might soon be. Good luck with the sale.
Thanks for the PM. Figured I'd respond here. I owned one exactly like that, and I had all the same extras to go with it. Even had a set of Lester mags on it. Brings back some good memories. Unfortunately, I got the bug for a new bike back in 1980 and traded it on a new XS11. But that wasn't my first Buffalo. I bought a new '72, then got a '74 a few years later. Then the '76. I restored a '72 later in 1986 and rode it for 5 years before unloading it, 2 rolling chassis, and about 500 pounds of spare parts including several engines, a dozen full gasket kits, alternators, frames, etc. Guys used to call me the Water Buffalo king of Hillsboro, Oregon. All in all, I rode those things for 20 years and figured enough was enough. I just can't go back there...unless I have a few more beers. Then I'd probably be on your doorstep tomorrow night.
