Now how the hell did a YG1 wind up smack dab in the middle of the War of 1812?

Weird

Will have to go back and try to find the VIN. Story goes that Ol' Hickory's troops used these to attack the British at New Orleans. They could ride in, hit hard and back off to regroup while The Brit's only had CA95 Hondas so they could never catch them. We owe our freedom from British rule to this little baby!

So that's why Honda used so much red on their bikes back then! Smile

Here's the other side. It does look like that YCS1 I think. 180cc?
Just needs the battery charged. Keys are in it and off you go....Ooops, forgot to say the wheel don't turn.

I was just joking... are you are joking? Obviously this message board format displays a note at the bottom of a post/reply automatically when text has been changed/edited after another reply follows it. That is why I, as some others do, actually type out/add their own edit notice sometimes to make it clear that it is indeed an 'add-on'

Good...maybe if you would have given me one of these = Smile instead of one of these = Laughing I would not have given it a second thought. But I am hungry(mean when I'm hungry) and I recently got a haircut from hell and think everybody I walk past is giving me one of these = Laughing That is the last $5.00 haircut I get. Embarassed Ok....taking a ride to the grocery store...leave helmet on inside store? hhmmmm...probably get shot. Rolling Eyes

AnKhe105 what you have there is a 1968 YCS1C Bonanza Scrambler. The 180 Bonanza came out in 1967 but only in street trim (low pipes) with chrome tank panels. In 1968 Yamaha dropped the chrome tank panels and painted the panels white with the rest of the tank being either Red or Blue. They also added the C to YCS1 for the scrambler version. You got your work cut out for you!!
