Sounds a little too good to be true. If it was around here (western Pa), I'm pretty sure that he could get 3 times that amount.

I live in VA and I sent him/her an email. Cheaper than playing the lottery. Can I drive it home on one wheel? Shocked

Thanks Ray,

Larry

I've an old H2 750 triple that has been sitting around unregistered in the back of my garage for years now. It is not original paint etc, but is pretty much complete. It does not run due to an electrical probelm but I beleive the motor is fine. I have the title.

Larry

You mean somebody got there before me? Sad

No, my original post was correct and you are 100% wrong.
2 strokes are horrible machines that should outlawed in the USA and the planet Earth all together.

100% wrong about what? Let's put a '+' by each 'statement' I made or added.

Me? I hate 2 strokes.

I think they smoke too much.
I think they sound bad.
I think they are too quick and
scary. +

That was the only 'statement' added by me that could have a wrong or right about it and of course.... unless you think I am an idiot..... I know what I added is is not true..... just a razz.

Just an example of distinguishing between fact and opinion.....

So the sound they make sounds bad to entire world population...period. ???

I have to leave for work now....I'll be back....maybe.

So much emotion rules thinking when logic points to different conclusions.

It happens that 2 strokers can leave some visual pollution.Whether that is any more toxic than the less visible pollution of the 4 stroker is another question. Their noise is certainly different. What cannot be denied is that a 2 stroker can deliver relatively so much more perfprmance for such an incredibly smaller amount of precious metals that it seems very likely it's 'carbon footprint'(if that is the right term) is considerably less.Count the number of moving parts in the motor of say a T500 compared to a GS750!

What do I ride by preference?4 strokes. In human behaviour, especially males, emotion rules over reason every time!

I am a big mouthed douche bag,.
If you take my criticism of a 2 stroke engine personal, you need help.
Because I don't like them has no meaning on the rest of you.
I won't touch a 2 stroke bike, you all have fun with them.
That is why I posted the link, for you guys that do like disgusting sounding nasty smelling and smokey motorcycles.
Remember that it is just my opinion coming out of my head.
So, go out there and get your bikes ready because Spring is here and all you stir crazy bastards need a ride.

Did I sound like I was taking criticism of two-strokes personally? I was only being picky (perhaps too much so} about how you did not preface the list with 'I think'. Oh, BTW, one T500 two stroke is enough for me... the rest of the motorcycles I have actually owned myself have been Honda 4-strokes. Here is some copied and pasted text from an old VJMOG post....
