When resetting my trip odometer, only the first column rotates when resetting it. In other words, it has to go through a whole bunch of numbers to reset it to zero. On my Honda's it a quick process to reset the tripmeter since it rotates the first column to 9 which rotates the second column to 9 which rotates the 3rd column etc.

Is the Suzuki T500M suppose to work this same way? Currently, it takes so long to reset the trip meter it's virtually useless.

I have three T500 (1975) speedometers, the nice original on the bike, a junky spare and a nice spare with only 7500 miles showing on the odometer. None of them have a 'clear' position in the knob assembly. Weird. Rolling Eyes
