It's Freakin' August for cryin' out loud.

Southern California will be getting hot in the next few days as a high pressure area rolls in bringing those triple digit temps the rest of the world has been experiencing all season and we have been reprieved from for a change.
The heat is coming and you will feel some of it in Nor Cal.

Grrr....bite me, Ray.
This is a helluva way to make national news.
Went out to snow blow this morning (again) - by the time I'd finished I couldn't even see where I'd started......

...and yesterday in beautiful sunshine I was able to give 20 5 yr old school kids their first, and very possibly only, sidecar ride around the park-like grounds of their school.
Their giggles are music for the soul!

I bet they were exstatic about it too.
My wife won't ride on the back of my bike anymore but, she got in my buddy's sidecar rig for a ride which I caught the last few seconds of on video.

Ocean and air temps mid 50s'. 100% humidity. Grey. Sometimes rain sometimes just wet. Time to surf.
Better than where the SO just came from. Plane delayed 3 days from MSP with drifts up to the windows.

I don't know how they do it up North where it can rain 300 days a year because I am losing what is left of my little mind after 3 days of rain.
We were only going 40mph when this picture was taken on the 101 freeway coming through downtown today.

Getting a little dry around here. A little drought action going on. Other than that it was a little nippy the other night but 75 forecast for a high tomorrow.
