Been there, done that, any number of times.

It still looks mostly wet, so dump it out, spray it out with carb cleaner or conventional starting fluid (ether).

Disassemble it, repeat the spray cleaning. Compressed air will certainly pop the piston out, since you believe it moved once at least when you squeezed it in.

For the reservoir, use a sharp object to scratch out the sludge in the corners. Use lots of rags or paper towels. Try not to GOUGE stuff though - use common sense. Smile

As mentioned, use a needle and ensure the tiny pinhole return port is clear. Gotta be able to see a bright light shining thru it. Or confirm that spray will spray thru it (again with the carb cleaner).

Put it all back together again with a garden-variety 'master cylinder rebuild kit' from any ebay vendor.

Done.
