Hi There,
Are you sure he did not say thirty years? That is down right ugly.
It appears that you will be taking it apart to clean and rebuild.
As for the stuck piston, you might try using a compressed air
nozzle to blow high pressure air in through the fluid outlet on the
master cylinder. Good luck.
Best,
Phil

Thanks & that is way worse than my 76, that has sat since 1982. The brake master is in better shape but looks like black oil in that. & the pistons on the calipers are a little frozen but will use the rebuilt master from my 76 wing to pump the pistons out . (i hope)

Just buy a new aftermarket master for $50 or so, end of problem for years to come.
They're on EBay all the time.
I put one on my Honda, works great. It's probably not as big and ferocious as your bike (you didn't mention your model/year), but they work great on all these bikes.

When the old master started getting brake fluid on my new paint and powdercoat, it really fried my cheese. This thing put and end to all master problems - the caliper stuff is easy to do, masters can be a pain.......

Like Bill said, get a new one from ebay, they come up all the time for under $75.00.
I am willing to be the clutch master from a CBR1100XX Super Blackbird would work.
Your clutch master can be cleaned out using soap and water only, don't use chemicals.
Make sure the little return hole is clear with a pin and get air to blow through all holes and passages.

Thanks guy`s & oh yea it might help on the bike stuff. It`s a first year 1982 Honda V45 Magna with 22k on it . I bought a master just like that off a guy on ebay (most likely the same guy) for my 82 goldwing i had & it worked great , but i figured i`d go a little more original on this bike

Wow !! that looks great , & what no flex pipe for exhaust ??? Wink Every time i think i`m getting close i find more to do . (should have started with a runner) as now i put the rear back on & it`s leaking around the large seal , so i might have to get another one to use. Evil or Very Mad
rear wheel isn`t staying as i`m putting on 79 comstars on it. (well at least the front & rear brakes are done)

Ya know why you're having so much trouble getting that wing finished? You got too much workin' room, you need more "stuff" to get in your way. And ya know what? Those vises work better if you bolt em down to something. Laughing Just a few observations. And about that flex pipe........it was only temporary.
