Wow! very unique bike, don't recall ever seeing one. Do you have any specs on it, shift pattern etc. Is it rotary induction?

Thanks for the comment Rizingson, .... "I" don't have a spec sheet on this bike but I did see one somewhere on the net maybe around here ? the shifter is pretty unique "I think" heel toe looks like maybe 3 gears ? . I have never ridin this bike cuz I want to keep it in the best condition I can . The bike was bought back or traded in at the same dealer it was sold from , from there the bike was prepared to sit on a wall as one of the dealers displays and or decoration . I worked at this shop durring the time it was on the wall and always took a liking to it , as it was always out of harms way . The rotary induction I believe is piston port ???? . I have seen ONE other one of this at a nearby museum and this one is in better condition , not sure if Barber has one ?.

that's piston port induction, carb behind & feeding into cylinder, rotary induction the carb would be on the side feeding lower end & transfer ports

Curious about the red indicator on the speedometer photo with "C" beside it. The others are self explanatory but not sure about this one.

They are very rare bikes. It was built to compete with Honda's CA95 Benly. The sad thing is that they have not yet caught on with collectors.

You are most welcome. I do remeber seeing someone sell a few basket cases of that bike at the AMCA Meet in Rhinebeck, New York a few years back. At the time I thought they were interesting, but I wasn't going to buy one because I was into Hondas and still am into Hondas. But they are without a doubt one of the coolest bikes of the 60's to ever come out of Japan.

Hard to imagine this was the "touring" bike back then , I look at it sitting next to my 07 goldwing and just shake my head . I also looked at the honda ca95 benly ... they eally do look the same . The Honda must have really did seem like a "dream" compared to the Kaw . |

I would venture a guess that the "C" on the speedo was for the charging system. Usually that is indicated with a "B" or "BE" as done by later Sukuki's and Kawasaki's. The "T" for turn signals and "N" for neutral.
