Twilight Zone seems like the right place. Wondering where people got their handles? If you get the urge tell the story here, short and sweet or long and complicated. I believe mine is self explanatory. It is what I do and where I live. I a trucker, Ia trucker. Boy, my mind does wander! Hmm

I can't actually remember where 'cloud sparrow' comes from... I've had it on other forums for years. But I have to say that Lucille is a lovely name for a bike! I still haven't found a real great name for mine... she's been temporarily Bettie (after Bettie Page) for the last couple of years but it still doesn't quite fit. In fact, I'd love to know what people name their bikes. It's a very interesting and personal thing, you know...

Yeah, I guess you have to search out the "personality" of the bike. The 350 bobber that I have was originally called Roxanne, but as more of my friends saw it the comment was , Man it's a "little guy" and the name has stuck since...............Blue

I started building small model cars when I was around 8 and I fell in love with the '67 fastback and the '71 model Mustangs. Since then I've got a '69 that I'm slowly working on, only because it's been sitting 5 hrs away from me for the past 5 years, but that's all about to change...

Boy this will get confusing....

I have a Moto Guzzi "V" 11sport. Moto Guzzi and Vespa are both owned by the same parent company. In Kansas only 5 letters are allowed on a Vanity Plate. "Vespa" translated from Italian to English = "Wasp"

VESPA is my tag on the bike. Sort of a joke... The italians get it... However, I really have to explain it thoroughly to Americans...

This name came from the man who trained me how to climb trees, I am a tree trimmer. He used to call me Mr.Chocko, because I used to be in the Coast Guard. Junior Officers are addressed as "mister" or "miss" As for names for my bikes only one of mine has a name and that is my little Honda Benly. I call it little sis, because it is a smaller version of the 305 Dream.

I have been called "Spider" since 1980 because I have daddy long leg legs, long and skinny.
Well, there must be 200k worth of "Spider"s on the net but, since I ride red Honda motorcycles, that makes me the fastest spider of them all making me the fasterspider. Twisted Evil
"fasterspider" was the only way I could think of to use the name "spider" and still be unique. Wink

Great to see the replies! I really hadn't thought about naming my bike. Most of what I call it right now is not fit to print. Since this is my first bike I seem to be doing everything 2 or 3 times to get it right. I actually am having fun doing it though. I put on new bars and got the wiring put through then started replacing every old 1976 connector I could find with heat shrink. Still about 1/4 of the parts off but couldn't resist hooking up the battery to see if it would turn over after my rewiring. IT'S ALIVE scared !!! Then took the battery back out. Might actually get a ride in before snow.
