Looks like we should have a nice turnout. Make sure and park your bikes near our booth. We want all the Jap. stuff together. VJMC rules!

Great day in Stockbridge! It was my first trip, but it's on my annual list now. My friend and I were blown away. It was also great to finally meet some of you and join the VJMC. Clearly there are lots of us out there who are obsessed with this stuff. I especially loved seeing all the CBXs, the 3-cylinder Kawasaki (Mach III - with CDI!), the RE-5, and of course the Honda twins that were there. Someday I want to own an RE-5 if for no other reason than to learn how it works.

Steve - thanks for the history lesson on the CBXs! Wonderful bikes and they look better now than they probably did when they were new. I'm working my way up one cylinder at a time, so I might be ready for one of these in a few years. Very Happy I'll be in touch by email about my motorcycle class and my tire situation (I didn't realize you owned a shop until I'd already put a down-payment on a new set of Avon Roadriders). I'll certainly be spreading the word. I have a friend who plans to start rebuilding his first bike this winter (a 1973 Suzuki that has been in boxes for decades and is mixed in with a couple of other vintage bikes!) I'm sure we'll be seeking help with that project.

got to meet Steve and he seems like a straight up guy. if he has a shop, i doubt youll get steered wrong...

anyway, it was a SUPER day. i was just out there last week but didnt know about this until then and almost didnt go. ended up with 211 miles on the day and 43.9mpg on my yamaha 900R...

here are a few pics from the VJMOG contingent:

ive never seen so many CBXs in one place. ive ALWAYS lusted after one of these but i dont think there is one in my future, near or far. i like the FJR and the other classic ricers too!

my bike being relatively new (83) was the only one of its kind there today so that was nice...

Great pics you guys. Thanks for the nice words. I am blushing. Embarassed (I am the guy with the white CBX and red shirt) I love these events and vintage japanese motorcycles as you can tell. The club is growing and so is this forum with the contacts we are meeting. I couldn't be more pleased. I don't think I have seen more CBX's in one place before. Good job everyone who came it. It was awesome! I will try to keep all you guys informed about other events like the International Cycle World show in Novi on Jan. 1-3. Stay tuned.

What a great show. We had 11 CBXes Very Happy Only a few F bikes. My F ers didn't make it out this time. We filled up the N side of the town square anyway. I think we had the best display AGAIN. Thanks to all who came out and made this a sucess. And a big thank you to Suzi Greenway(pres International Norton owners assn) for putting on this fine event in my home town.

The pictures of the event inspire me to start planning on being there next year. I just wish I had found this site, and learned about Stockbridge sooner so that I could have been there this year. I see some gray hair in the pictures, that makes me feel like I might just fit in with the group.

Sure wish we could have made it, my boy has been racing every weekend since July and this was our first weekend off. This was the first Stockbridge show we've missed. Hope to make it next year. I'm sure Steve and Red did a great job with the show, they always do. We'll see you guys in Novi in January.
