A friend of a friend knows I'm huge into Vintage Motorcycles and turned me onto this and I picked it up yesterday. (I've been on Kawasakitriplesworldwide for 10 years). I've owned my H2 Kawasaki 750 since 1978.
But I'm having trouble getting information on the 150's - lots of stuff on the 125 and 250's though, some on the 150's but nothing on a 1962 150. I'll post the vin pate info - don't have it handy here. I'm also watching a lot of manuals, parts on e-blay etc.
Here's some pics!

| You lucky dog. It's especially nice when you find the really old Japanese stuff. I'll check my 60's magazines and let you know if I find anything. |

parts drawings anyhoo every thing I'm finding on this indicate it may be a 68 rather than a 62 and the turn signals kind of say 68 too, not very many bikes had turns back in early 60's

| I have a Clymer handbook that covers 1964-1974 twins and it has info on a S32-2. If you think this might help with your bike I'll see what I can find about it. Nice find, good luck. |

Here’s what the vin plate says:
Model SGE, 150cc, Eng# 52532, Frame #100965, Date Manufactured 1962.
Got a manual coming from eBay, looking around for cables not easy but I've done a lot of restorations. Gonna tear it down this weekend or at least start. Will post more later.
Cheers,

Well, Barn Find means animals. This project is rougher than originally though - the animals ate all the wires and left a mess inside - took me hours to clean this out - gross.

Does anyone know what this would be? I understand the original owner was a bit of an inventor - but why would you even mess with intakes on a two stroke like this? This valve was mounted under the horn, seems to be tapped into both cylinders intake. The valve is stuck - I'm pretty sure this is not something stock - I've never seen anything like it ever.

Looks like he was trying a new technique to balance the carbs. _________________ To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk. |

He must have been WAY ahead of his time. Looks like a connection for the nitrous oxide.
