you need to use img and put a "/" in the last img there like this:
| Code: | | [img]http://www.nakedgoldwings.com/albums/rat/greg_jones_gl1100.highlight.jpg[/img] |
This is how it will look:

Just a bit of additional info. If you use bbcode in your sig you have to put it in via your forum profile and not "your account"
PHP Nuke doesn't understand bbcode since that's a forum thing. _________________ 78 Honda GL1000

There are several ways, sometimes one works, other times it's another, depends on the forum software and configuration.
Profiles... go to the profiles link on the page>right click copy shortcut... paste url into message
For a message... go to the little page icon at the top of the message and right click copy shortcut... paste url into message.
Sometimes it's right click >properties>copy the url from the properties page... this works for pictures usually.
Pretty basic windoze and forum software stuff... I used to post regularly for years on http://www.sysopt.com/forum , a computer builders and optimizers forum. I found biker forums to be more fun _________________ |

Sorry maybe I misspoke. I know how to attach a picture and add one to my signature (see my huge photo in previous) I wanted to reduce it and make it a hyperlink just like your signature. |

Oh OK, I see you use Photobucket, it should do it all for you. Go to the page where it's stored and check the box by the image you want, then go to the bottom of that page and select the button that says to generate html and image codes. That will send you to a page of links, so you want the one that's in the box labled "IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards - recommended" Copy that (it may copy automatically just by touching it) That will give you code that looks like this:
| Code: | | [URL=http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e385/genesound/BS/whennottohaveyourpicturetaken_1.jpg][IMG]http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e385/genesound/BS/th_whennottohaveyourpicturetaken_1.jpg[/IMG][/URL] |
That should render something like this, a clickable thumbnail picture linked to a larger version that you previously uploaded to photobucket. If it doesn't do it automatically, you can code it yourself if you get the appropriate image URLs.
What I'm not sure of is whether you will have this feature in a free photobucket account; mine is a paid account and it includes extra features, but I'm not really sure which ones are standard.
It's still standard forum coding...
| Code: | | [url]http://hvmdesign.com[/url] or [url=http://hvmdesign.com]High Velocity Media[/url] |
It's just that the text "High Velocity Media" turns out to be a thumbnail image instead of the text when the code is parsed. _________________ |

Hey Pete, I see you have it working. Now you just need to upload a larger version (800-1024 pixels wide or so for a click pic) to your photobucket account and link it all up and you'll be good to go _________________ |
