Archangel -

There's no problem here at this site with posting a link.
I know I'd be very interested myself, as chroming is very expensive, and I usually can't afford it.
so give us the link...

bill
Bill's request was probably entered when I wes editing my reply, so if kosher, bring on the link!

Thank you for the reply, the phone no. you supplied will suffice. I realize now that the more pcs. you send a chromer the better the overall price. All the stuff that I sent to my chromer were sent just 2 -3 pcs. at a time....as I could afford it. I know now that was a mistake. Everything was also "triplechroming" which I think means they plate it with other material before the final plating. I will email the company you supplied to me a picture of the luggage rack. I think I will just have a regular chrome done on it. The trunk that I use on it will probably scuff up the rack or moisture trapped under it causes light rust. I may still try to mechanicaly remove the chrome - maybe with a "Brightex" wheel I found out about after I posted this question. It is made by Caswell Inc. I will call Antique Chrome Shop and see what they say. Thanks again! Very Happy

Ok Here Is the web site link I hope you are right I don't want to make any one mad linking to a different site

I think triple chroming is 3 layers of chrome over a heavy layer of nickle plate but I am not sure.
The pics should speak for them selves also the photos may not be to large if you ask poster he might e-mail larger ones to you for better inspection
