Bike runs good and shifts well. All electrical works. The front brake is a little sticky (needs to be cleaned). Has new clutch, clean carbs, new tires, new points/condenser, fresh plugs and oil change. Bike doesnt look as nice as the picture shows. Tank and side covers have scratches, small dings and faded paint. Chrome is lightly pitted. The front fender has some rust and a ding on top. Headlight bucket is cracked. Bike is pretty much all original. Not a show bike. This is the only model that had the front disc brake. Just under 15,000 miles.

SOLD

Yeah, and working well. But I really want to start a CB750 cafe bike and need to let this bike go in order to do that.

Well, if I lived much closer, like actually in Michigan, I'd be interested. Maybe I should have my mother-in-law from Kalamazoo come get it for me! Keep us updated on the cafe project. Should look pretty awesome!

Kalamazoo is about 3 hours away from me. I'd be willing to meet halfway if you're interested.

Very hard.

I found a CB750 that I want to build and it needs some work, but shouldnt take too much to turn into a real nice bike. So Im only allowed so many bikes at once.

Lol..yeah, I know...I have two bikes now and I'm starting to shop for a third cuz I really want a touring bike and am starting to fall in love in with Honda ST1300...but even a good used one costs $8-10k...the wife has totally giving up on me and as long I can fit them on "my" side of the garage its okay with her.

I have a casual friend who has a Cb750 he wants to sell me or fix up for him but it has 26,000 miles on it...fyi...don't know what he is asking for it...suppose to be in good shape but he hasn't been running it for about 5 years.

You know, at this point, I only put a deposit down on it to hold until I come up with the rest of the dough. The bike is a 1973. I think it's a K. At least that's what the tank looks like.

Yes, if it a 73 then it is a sohc K model. I think the F version of the sohc came in in 76, 77, and 78. The dohc is alot better piece but then I'm biased.

26,000 miles isnt that bad depending on the year.

I might be selling my 2006 Vulcan cruiser to my father in law. So Im going to be down to just the project bike. If I do sell the Vulcan, then I might be able to keep the CB350. I would actually like to keep it. That way I have this bike to ride around on while Im working on the CB750.

John,

What differentiates the a K, from a C, and so on?

K model has a 4 into 4 exaust, in the sohc or the dohc. F denotes super sport and in the sohc they had a 4 into 1 and a black motor. The F in the dohc had different side covers, different seat, comstar wheels and unique paint schemes while the dohc K model had spokes. The c version is a shaft drive. Same motors. sohc has adj bucket valve, dohc has shims.

Hmm...if I remember, the top of the engine was black with chrome valve and case covers. It had 4 into 2 pipes. I dont know if they are stock or not. The body was repainted at some point. Looks horrible. But my plan is to repaint anyway. Spoke rims. The gas cap release has the single non-locking push tab which I believe is from 73 and below.
