Hey congrats Ray. It’s been a long time coming. I admire your ability to get in there and take care of business. Man that must be a nice feeling not having to feel paranoid just to take a ride anymore.
Good work boss!

Congratulations. It sounds like it was a lot of work, but it's worth it. After several years of procrastination brought about by ongoing clinical depression, I finally got myself legal, and it's a good feeling. And since you're bragging, I'm going to brag, too. Of the nine people there to take the riding portion of the test, I was only one of three who got through it without putting a foot down once. And the other two people were on scooters. Even the guys on the 600cc sportbikes kept losing balance and putting their feet down.

I am signed up for Ride Rite's motorcycle safety course and will be taking my road test on a little 250cc bike but if I had to do it on my CBX, no problem because I can balance that big ole bike pretty easily.
I think after I pass my course, I will ask to do it again on my CBX just to see if I can do it like I think I can.

I think you will have fun Ray. Those courses are excellent for riders at all skill levels.

I have never been more miserable in all my years as I was yesterday.
I cannot believe these people are trying to get on motorcycles. They cannot walk and chew gum nevermind operate a motorcycle safely. Crazy decision I made getting into this class and I still have 5 more hours today with these fucking idiots.

Well, you gotta bite the bullet and put up with the clueless ones to get that cert to get your motorcycle endorsement for your license.
Hope all went well!

Why is it, please, that some people in this forum feel the need to emphasize their point of view by using potty language and think they have to elevate themselves above the crowd by calling others derogative names?
As a far as the "clueless" in a motorcycle class are concerned, I applaud everybody who takes one before they get on the road WITHOUT a licence.
Have all you self-proclaimed experts forgotten how it was when you started to ride? Among the worst that can happen to the motorcycle community is that newcomers to the hobby are driven away by loudmouths who think they know everything. I have been a member here for quite some time but never made a post, because I was afraid I would be clobbered by some of the acknowledged authorities here for making an innocent (or ignorant) statement.
Well, now it happened.

This is a motorcycle forum and the language gets what some would call colorful.
If you do not like the language in my threads, you do not have to read them.
The fucking idiots that let these people pass their road tests yesterday need to be fired.
These women that were given their certs yesterday do not even belong driving a car nevermind operating a motorcycle on a public roadway.
I learned to ride when I was about 14 years old over 30 years ago on a dirt bike and then graduated on my own to a street bike. I never stalled the bike I learned on and did not have my first motorcycle accident until a couple of years ago.
I am a natural rider and a couple of the people in my class were naturals too but, the rest do not belong on the road.
So you go on and have a nice day and realize that this is a motorcycle forum and some bikers have fucked up vocabularies. Thank you very much.
Potty language? What the fuck is potty language? Do you speak a special language to shit with? Wake up and realize this is the real world, not some make believe fucking play ground where your bull shit morals have any fucking meaning.
