Yeah, I know, go through it all. I have four bikes on my bench right now - so little time! This one has 4000 miles on it, always kept in mint shape and running fine until two years ago. I'm kind of ...

I just bought a pair of carb kits, jets, needles, etc. for a 1979 CM400A. I'm used to buying parts for my 79 CB750s, which are pretty much the same 79-81. ...

Maybe one of you guys has an idea I can work with before I go tearing things apart again Smile

I have a really nice CM400A which had gummed up carbs. I disassembled them entirely, dipped everything, ...

Ahhh - well, I did not have the stand down, but that's a good place to look - thanks. I've never had a bike new enough to have something like that, but I can understand the usefulness of it on an aut ...

I was given a 1980 CM400A, in really really good shape. Nice original paint. This happened because I have a few other vintage bikes in my garage including a couple of CB750s. I took it, heck, the p ...

Why talk about it ?

Just tear it apart and inspect it . That's the only way to know one thing or another .

Ha! Yeah man, but I knew I wasn't working on the bike until today - so in the meantim ...

Thanks for the replies, guys.

I will start with valve adjustment. I have the factory manual, and I'm about to read how to do it.
